Global Outreach Events in June 2006

May 25 - June 5 -- Global Adventure to Malawi
On May 25 a Global Adventure team of 7 people led by Katie Murphy left for 10 days of ministry in Lilongwe, Malawi. The team is primarily working with youth in several rural areas in the Lilongwe area, as well as some urban youth. Pray for safety in travel, good health, and effectiveness in ministry.

June 5 -- Prayer Meeting for Thailand

An opportunity to hear what God is doing through Word of Grace missionaries in Thailand, pray for them and pray for the this nation that needs to hear the Good News of Jesus.

June 7 -- East Valley Missions Consortium

This month will feature a panel of Outreach and Missions pastors from several area churches. This will be a time to learn from each other, discover where God is leading churches throughout the valley, and hear about strategies for ministry that are bringing about transformation in churches and communities.

June 14 - 23 -- Global Adventure Teams to Nicaragua
On June 14 two teams will be traveling to Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua. The construction team, led by John Swain will be working on a number of projects at the Partners in Christ orphanage. The childrens evangelism team will be working with up to 800 children in parks, beaches and public schools -- sharing the Good News of the Gospel through music, drama and stories. Pray for their safety, health and effectiveness in ministry.
